Athletics External Affairs Internship
The Department of Athletics is seeking applicants for an Athletics External Affairs Intern. This effort aims to support the offices within Athletics' External Relations department, including Communications, Marketing, Multimedia, and Ticketing.
About the Position
The primary responsibility of this position is to assist members of the External Relations staff, rotating within the External Relations departments to help expand our department's capabilities supporting 37 varsity sports.
What are the main projects/areas of responsibility for the position?
- Work closely within the Athletics External Team in a wide array of capacities.
- Assist the Athletics Communications Team with social media content creation for main Athletics pages and sport specific pages.
- Assist the Athletics Marketing Team as a liaison to external graphic design groups and aid with departmental projects while upholding the Princeton Athletics brand guidelines.
- Serve the Athletics Ticket Operations & Sales Team as it relates to group sales strategies and efforts to grow and expand our season ticket holder and single game ticket holder base.
- Aid the Athletics Multimedia & Broadcasting Team with video content creation and broadcast production across various teams
- Work with the Athletics External Team to interface with the following constituents: alumni, community members, families, students, faculty/staff, campers, youth teams, etc.

- Other duties as assigned.
What skills/qualifications are required?
- Ability work with a wide variety of individuals and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Well versed background in social media and ability to stay current on social media trends.
- Must possess strong writing and speaking skills.
- Graphic design and or photography and or video skills preferred
