Five Women's Lacrosse Players Named To IWLCA Academic Honor Roll

Five Princeton women's lacrosse players were named to the 2021 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division I Academic Honor Roll as announced this week.

Lucie Gildehaus, Sidney Gregorek, Gaby Hamburger, Tara Shecter, and Caroline Skinner each received recognition from the IWLCA for their work in the classroom during the 2020-21 academic year.

To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.

In addition, the Tigers were honored as a team with a selection as a 2021 IWLCA Academic Honor Squad. To qualify a women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year.

"I am proud of the work our team put in all year during unprecedented times," said head coach Chris Sailer. "We made the most of our situation and focused on improving in all areas, to see that work in the classroom pay off with these honors is special to everyone involved with Princeton Lacrosse. I am thankful to each student-athlete who played a part in this team honor and congratulate our five individual honorees."
