Close One in Jadwin as Two of Nation's Top Three Teams Meet

Two of the top three teams in the nation saw their match decided by the closest of margins on Sunday in Jadwin Gym, with No. 2 Harvard defeating No. 3 Princeton 5-4.
Princeton had winners on court one, with Youssef Ibrahim holding off a rally bid from Victor Crouin in a five-game match, as well as another five-gamer from Maaz Khatri on court seven and three-game wins from Ahmed Wael and Zain Ahmed on eight and nine.
Ibrahim won the first two games before Crouin rallied to force a fifth game, which Ibrahim won 11-7. Khatri's match followed the same pattern, with the Tiger junior getting out to a 2-0 lead in games before winning game five 11-6.
The Tigers will continue Ivy League play next Saturday at No. 5 Yale before stepping out of league play next Sunday at No. 4 Trinity.
