No. 5 Princeton Takes Eight Matches at No. 7 Cornell

In the first of two Ivy League matches on the weekend, the No. 5-ranked Princeton men's squash team was an 8-1 winner over No. 7 Cornell on Friday afternoon in Ithaca.
Princeton won four matches in sweeps, from Daelum Mawji and Cole Becker at three and four, from Alastair Cho at seven, and from Howe Cheng at nine. Karim Elbarbary at two, Thomas Rosini at five and Duncan Joyce at six all won in four, and all after winning the first game and seeing their opponents tie it with a win in the second. At one, Youssef Ibrahim's match went the distance and saw Ibrahim rally from two games to none down and win three straight. The win was Ibrahim's seventh in a row.
Princeton (5-3, 2-2 Ivy) will return home to face No. 6 Columbia in Jadwin Gym on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Video streaming is available here with live results here.
