Men's Soccer Concludes 2022 Season On Senior Day

The 2022 men's soccer season came to a conclusion with a 3-0 loss to No. 23 Penn.
A pair of goals from the Quakers midway through the first half helped build a 2-0 lead, and a third goal midway through the second period was added insurance as the Quakers secured the Ivy League championship and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Isaac McGinnis connected on a penalty kick in the 24th minute for Penn, and Charlie Gaffney followed in the 37th minute.
Ben Do tacked on the third goal in the 64th minute.
Shots in the match were relatively even, with Penn holding a 9-7 edge. In terms of shots on goal, the Quakers held a 4-1 advantage.
Before the match, Princeton honored its Class of 2023 with Senior Day ceremonies recognizing Ben Bograd, Ryan Clare, Daniel Diaz Bonilla, Lucas Gen, Mateo Godoy and Thomas Huleatt for their contributions to the Princeton Men's Soccer program -- which included all six contributing to the 2021 Ivy League championship as juniors and three playing on the 2018 Ivy title team.
