Men's Hockey Falls At Dartmouth, 2-0
February 19, 2022 | Men's Ice Hockey
HANOVER, N.H. – Princeton and Dartmouth went toe-to-toe for 58 minutes at Thompson Arena, but a pair of late goals from the Big Green were the difference in a 2-0 result.
Braiden Dorfman stuffed home a loose puck with 1:25 left, and Sean Chisholm potted an empty-netter with 0:23 left to provide the difference.
Aidan Porter finished with 23 saves, including 10 in the second period where Dartmouth had multiple power-play opportunities. Porter's biggest save of the second period was a sliding stop on the power play to deny a Dartmouth 2-on-1.
Corey Andonovski had six shots on goal, Mark Paolini had five.
The Tigers conclude the regular season with three games next weekend. Princeton will host Colgate (Feb. 25; 7 p.m.), Cornell (Feb. 26; 7 p.m.) and Harvard (Feb. 27; 4 p.m.) at Hobey Baker Rink.
