Women’s Swimming & Diving Places Fourth at Ivy Championships

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – On the final day of Ivy Championships at Blodgett Pool, the Princeton women's swimming and diving team set four top-10 school records en route to a fourth-place finish with 1074 points.
1650 Freestyle
With a NCAA B cut time of 16:28.22, Ellie Marquardt placed second in the event. She was followed by Emily Appleton (16:53.62) in tenth, Macey Mannion (17:15.62) in 20th and Anna Durak (17:40.30) in 22nd.
200 Backstroke
Liza Whitmire took fourth with a time of (1:57.44), while Isabella Korbly earned a sixth-place finish. Korbly's mark of 1:57.71 lands her tenth all-time in school history.
In prelims, Whitmire recorded an NCAA B cut time of 1:57.08, placing her fourth all-time in school history.
100 Freestyle
With a NCAA B cut mark of 48.81, Nikki Venema placed third in the event. Venema was followed by Christina Bradley (50.26) in tenth, Amelia Liu (50.61) in 14th, and Jennifer Secrest (51.23) in 22nd.
200 Breaststroke
Margaux McDonald took third after posting a 2:14.88, good for ninth all-time in school history. Meanwhile, Vivian Wang placed 16th with a time of 2:20.22.
200 Butterfly
Recording a NCAA B cut time of 1:58.75, Jess Yeager secured a fourth-place finish. Yeager's time moves her into eighth all-time in school history. Additionally, Alex Pappas (2:02.53) placed 14th while Jaime Chen (2:06.69) took 19th.
400 Freestyle Relay
The team of Christina Bradley, Amelia Liu, Ellie Marquardt, and Jennifer Secrest touched fourth with a time of 3:21.66.
