Nine From Women’s Swimming & Diving Earn All-Ivy Honors

IVY LEAGUE RELEASE
PRINCETON, N.J. – The Ivy League announced its all-conference selections for women's swimming & diving Wednesday afternoon, and nine members of the Princeton University women's swimming & diving team garnered recognition.
In the 100 butterfly, Nikki Venema was named First Team All-Ivy League after she touched the wall at an NCAA B cut time of 52.69. Venema also collected Second Team All-Ivy League honors in the 50 freestyle, after touching the wall at 22.30, finishing second and earning an NCAA B cut.
The quartet of Alexa Pappas, Vivian Wang, Venema, and Christina Bradley earned First Team All-Ivy League honors in the 200 medley relay, after finishing in first place in a time of 1:38.66.
In the 200 freestyle relay, Bradley, Amelia Liu, Venema, and Jennifer Secrest garnered Second Team All-Ivy League honors, finishing in 1:30.38 to earn a second-place finish.
Isabella Korbly was honored as an All-Ivy League Second Team performer in the 200 breaststroke, as she finished second in 53.88. Korbly also earned an NCAA B cut in the event.
The team of Korbly, Margaux McDonald, Venema, and Bradley were recipients of Second Team All-Ivy League honors in the 400 medley relay, after the finished as runners-up with a time of 3:38.63. Venema's fifth All-Ivy honor of the meet brought her total amount of career All-Ivy League honors to 12, as she earned seven in 2020.
Ellie Marquardt garnered Second Team All-Ivy League honors in the 1650 freestyle, after earning an NCAA B cut and touching the wall at 16:28.22 to finish second. She now has six All-Ivy honors in her two seasons of competition at Princeton.
Additionally, Wang was named to the Academic All-Ivy League team. She is an Economics major, from Saratoga, California.
