Men’s Volleyball Falls at Saint Francis

LORETTO, Penn. – The Princeton University men's volleyball team fell, 3-1 (20-25, 25-16, 26-24, 25-22) to Saint Francis University Saturday night inside DeGol Arena.
Sophomore Ben Harrington tied for the game-high in kills with 13, while first year Henry Wedbush handed out a team-high 36 assists and also led the match in digs with 10. Junior Brady Wedbush led the Tigers in blocks, with three.
The Tigers started strongly, with a kill by first year Nyherowo Omene giving Princeton an 8-5 advantage. The set continued as a back-and-forth battle; with the Tigers leading 20-18, a Red Flash service error led off a 3-0 run that saw the Tigers surge ahead, 23-18. Princeton would hold on to take the opening set, 25-20.
The Red Flash took control early and did not look back in the second and third sets, opening with 4-0 and 3-0 runs and prevailing 25-16 and 26-24. The fourth set saw Princeton take a 15-11 lead, but Saint Francis battled back to win 25-22.
