PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's volleyball team resumes EIVA conference play with matchups against No. 3 Penn State and Saint Francis.
Last Time Out
The Tigers fell to the No. 8 Ball State Cardinals 3-0 (25-16, 26-24, 25-19) last Saturday at Dillon Gym. Sophomore Ben Harrington lead the Tigers with 12 kills, while senior Joe Kelly recorded a team high eight digs and 30 assists.
Through 16 Matches
Ben Harrington leads the Tigers in kills per set (3.07) as well as service aces (33). Joe Kelly is the leader in assists per set with 6.84, while first year Aiden Benson leads the team in blocks per set with 1.06.
Scouting No. 3 Penn State
The Nittany Lions boast a 15-3 record this year and are coming off multiple victories against No. 13 Ohio State, dropping the Buckeyes 3-0 and 3-1 respectively.
Offensively, Brett Wildman leads the team in kills per set (3.49), while Cole Bogner averages a team high 10.44 assists per set. Defensively, Cal Fisher is the leader in digs per set (1.97) while Toby Ezeonu has the top tally for blocks per set (0.87). Fisher also has the team lead in service aces with 32.
Scouting Saint Francis
The Red Flash are 12-6 on the season, most recently knocking off No. 13 Ohio State 3-1. Before their matchup with the Tigers, Saint Francis will battle George Mason.
