NCAA MEN'S LACROSSE QUARTERFINAL TICKETS
The Princeton-Yale men's lacrosse matchup will be the second one in an NCAA quarterfinal doubleheader at Hofstra Saturday. Princeton, the No. 5 seed, and Yale, seeded fourth, will face-off at approximately 2:30, after the opener between third-seed Penn and sixth-seed Rutgers at noon.
Tickets are available on the Hofstra athletics website. In addition, fans are encouraged to purchase parking passes in advance.
Princeton is making its 17th appearance in the quarterfinals and first since 2009. The Tigers are 10-6 all-time in quarterfinal games, including a loss to Yale in 1990 in the team's first-ever NCAA appearance. Of Princeton's 16 quarterfinal games, five have been played at Hofstra.
Princeton advanced to the quarterfinals with a 12-5 win over Boston University in the opening round Saturday. Yale won its NCAA opener 18-16 over St. Joe's. Yale defeated Princeton 14-12 back on March 26 in New Haven.
The Tigers had six players honored on the Inside Lacrosse All-American team, announced Sunday night. Defenseman George Baughan and Jake Stevens were third-team selections, while Chris Brown (A), Sam English (M), Beau Pederson (SSDM) and Andrew Song (LSM) were honorable mention picks. Yale's
