Women's Rugby Battles Brown Saturday

For the second week in a row, Princeton will play a home women's rugby match as the Tigers welcome Ivy rival Brown to campus for an 11 a.m. kickoff.
This will be the first of three meetings against teams representing Ivy League schools, with matches at Harvard (Sept. 24) and at Dartmouth (Oct. 22) to follow. Last year, Brown was 4-3-1 overall and advanced to the NIRA semifinals.
While the Tigers were held off the scoreboard last week, they enter Match Three with a trio of successful tries this season. Erica de san Jorge, Sophia Villacorta and Amelia Clarke each have touched the ball down for the Tigers this season.
Alayshja Bable is 3-for-3 on conversions this season.
Brown enters the weekend off a 24-24 tie with Sacred Heart last weekend and a 47-14 loss at Quinnipiac to start the year. Noelle Lewis leads the Bears with two tries, while Julia Murray has four conversions.
