Softball Team to Play Three Fall Dates

The reigning Ivy League champion Princeton softball team will play three dates this fall, including one at home at Princeton Softball Stadium at Strubing Field.

Princeton will begin the fall slate at Villanova, like Princeton a 2022 NCAA tournament team, Sunday, Sept. 25 for a 1 p.m. 10-inning game.

The home date will come the following Friday, Sept. 30, against LIU for a 2:30 p.m. doubleheader. Princeton will close the fall season at Saint Joseph's on Saturday, Oct. 8 for a noon doubleheader.

The Tigers return seven All-Ivy League honorees from last season's Ivy championship team, including the reigning Ivy Pitcher of the Year Alexis Laudenslager and Ivy Rookie of the Year Sophia Marsalo. The two were among Princeton's five returning first-team All-Ivy winners, with Marsalo at first base, Serena Starks in the outfield, Allison Ha as a utility player, and Adrienne Chang at designated player. Shortstop Grace Jackson and outfielder Lauren Sablone were second-team honorees in 2022.
