Pito Walton Earns ECAC Defender Of The Month Honors

Senior defenseman Pito Walton had an seven-point month during December, earning ECAC Defender of the Month honors for his efforts. Walton was all over the scoresheet in December, scoring once and adding six assists as Princeton went 4-2-0.
Walton, who picked up an ECAC Defender of the Week honor following a three-assist effort against RPI as part of a Princeton weekend sweep, is the first Tiger to earn a monthly award from the ECAC since Ryan Kufner was named Forward of the Month for February 2019.
Walton and the Tigers are back at Baker Rink on January 13, hosting LIU at 7 p.m.

For the 2022-23 season, Walton is tied for the team lead in scoring with 13 points (4 goals, 9 assists) through 17 games played. He has already set career-bests in assists and points, and his next goal will also set a career-high.O Captain My Captain!
