ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Princeton University women's swimming & diving team's stellar weekend at Lejeune Hall came to a close Saturday, earning wins over both Notre Dame and Navy.

In the 200 backstroke the Tigers earned a 1-2-3 sweep; Meg Wheeler finished first in 1:57.52, Isabella Korbly second in 1:58.53 and Liza Whitmire third in 1:59.58. Princeton also earned the top-two finishes in the 100 freestyle, as Nikki Venema touched the wall at an NCAA B cut time of 48.60 and Sabrina Johnston 49.85.
The 400 freestyle relay saw Princeton emerge victors, with Johnston, Heidi Smithwick, Amelia Liu and Venema finished with a time of 3:17.43.
Eliza Brown earned a first-place finish in the 200 breaststroke, clocking in at 2:11.91 while Margaux McDonald finished second with a time of 2:13.61 as both earned NCAA B cuts. Brown and McDonald would also earn two out of the top three spots in the 200 IM; Brown won the event after touching the wall at 2:00.34, and McDonald finished third in 2:02.13.
On the 3-meter board, Charlotte Martinkus' score of 317.15 saw her finish first, while Maddie Seltzer finished third with a score of 283.60. Both divers earned NCAA Zone cuts.
The Tigers finished both second and third in the 200 medley relay, with Korbly, McDonald, Liza Whitmire and Ela Noble finishing in 1:39.50 and Alexa Pappas, Brown, Margaret Hayes and Liu third in 1:40.68. The 100 butterfly also saw the Tigers claim second and third-place, with Venema second with a time of 53.24 and Smithwick third with a time of 53.94.
Emily Appleton also earned a second-place finish in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:49.18.
