No. 6 Men's Water Polo Heads West For Fall Break Trip

PRINCETON – The No. 6 Princeton Men's Water Polo team begins its Fall Break trip at the No. 9 UC Irvine Anteaters on Sunday (3 p.m., 12 p.m. PT).
The Tigers are currently on a five-game winning streak and 16-2 overall this season. Princeton's only losses have come to No. 4 Stanford and No. 4 Pepperdine.
Following the Tigers' contest vs. No. 9 UC Irvine, Princeton heads to #10 UC Santa Barbara on Tuesday (2 p.m., 11 a.m. PT), and No. 1 UCLA on Wednesday (9 p.m., 6 p.m. PT). The contest vs. No. 1 UCLA will be televised on the PAC-12 Network.
Princeton will take part in the Santa Clara Invitational with games vs. No. 15 Pacific (2:20 p.m. ET, 11:20 a.m. PT) and No. 12 San Jose State (7:40 p.m., 4:40 p.m. PT) on Friday along with two more games vs. No. 5 Pepperdine (1:40 p.m., 10:40 a.m. PT) and Fresno Pacific (5:40 p.m., 2:40 p.m. PT) on Saturday.
Roko Pozaric has 44 goals in 18 games, adding 27 assists along with 21 steals and a 59-2 sprint record. He sits with 174 goals and 110 assists in his career, one of only four players in program history to reach those milestones (Keller Maloney, Matt Payne, Jordan Colina).
Vladan Mitrovic and George Caras are tied for second on the squad with 29 tallies while JP Ohl is fourth with 23 tallies. Logan McCarroll (19), Yurian Quinones (19), Pierce Maloney (17), Finn LeSieur (16), Mason Killion (15) and Will Swart (12) all have double-digit tallies. Ohl paces the Tigers with 40 helpers while adding 18 steals.
West Temkin and Kristóf Kovács have combined for a .582 save percentage along with 195 saves. Kovacs is 8-0 this season with a .616 save percentage with his best outing coming at Iona with 20 saves. Temkin has produced at least 10+ stops in six of his 10 starts this season.
