No. 6 Men’s Water Polo Outlasts No. 9 UC Irvine, 11-9

The No. 6 Men's Water Polo squad secures a thrilling win against another top-10 opponent with a 11-9 victory on the road at No. 9 UC Irvine.
In what was a back-and-forth, affair, the largest lead either team held in this one was two, which happened three separate times including the final score.
The difference in this game came on the power play, where the Tigers were 4-for-10 on their opportunities, while the Anteaters were just 2-for-11 on theirs.
George Caras had his second hat trick in the past three games, including a goal that sealed the deal in the final minute. Meanwhile, Kristof Kovacs made 11 saves for the Tigers.
Princeton improves to 17-2 overall heading into their matchup on Oct. 17th at No. 10 UC Santa Barbara.
