No. 6 Men's Water Polo Continues West Coast Trip

PRINCETON – The No. 6 Princeton Men's Water Polo Team continues their impressive West Coast Trip with two more contests this week.
The Tigers will take on No. 10 UC Santa Barbara Gauchos on Tuesday (2 p.m., 11 a.m. PT) and the No. 1 UCLA Bruins on Wednesday (9 p.m., 6 p.m. PT).
Princeton opened the Fall Break trip with an impressive 11-9 decision over No. 9 UC Irvine. George Caras registered a hat trick while Kristóf Kovács stopped 11 shots in the win.
Head coach Dustin Litvak's group is 2-3 all-time against UC Santa Barbara, earning a victory last year. The program's first win came in October of 2002. The Tigers are 0-16 all-time against the Bruins.
Roko Pozaric has 45 goals in 19 games, adding 28 assists along with 23 steals and a 62-3 sprint record. He sits with 175 goals and 111 assists in his career, one of only four players in program history to reach those milestones (Keller Maloney, Matt Payne, Jordan Colina).
Caras is second on the squad with 32 tallies while Vladan Mitrovic (30), JP Ohl (24), Yurian Quinones (20) each have at least 20 goals. Ohl paces the Tigers with 46 helpers.
West Temkin and Kovács have combined for a .584 save percentage along with 209 saves. Kovacs is 8-0 this season with a .616 save percentage with his best outing coming at Iona with 20 saves. Temkin has produced at least 10+ stops in six of his 10 starts this season.
