No. 6 Men's Water Polo Battles LIU/Iona Saturday

PRINCETON – The No. 6 Princeton Men's Water Polo Team heads on the road Saturday to take on the LIU Sharks (12 p.m.) and the Iona Gaels (6 p.m.).
Princeton remains No. 6 in the Association Collegiate Water Polo Coaches' (ACWPC) and in the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Varsity Polls.
The Tigers are 14-2 overall this season and 3-0 in the Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC). Half of their wins have been over ranked opponents highlighted by decisions over No. 10 Long Beach State and No. 14 Cal Baptist.
Roko Pozaric leads the team in scoring with 67 points and a team-best 41 goals. He's been the NWPC Player of the Week three straight weeks and has registered a goal in every game along with posting an assist in 15 of 16 contests.
Head coach Dustin Litvak, who surpassed 100 career wins last weekend, has 10 players with at least 10 goals in Pozaric, Vladan Mitrovic (29), George Caras (26), JP Ohl (19), Logan McCarroll (!6), Yurian Quinones (15), Finn LeSieur (14), Mason Killion (13), Pierce Maloney (13) and William Swart (11).
West Temkin and Kristóf Kovács have combined for a .574 save percentage and 166 stops as the two have split time in the cage this season.
The Tigers and Sharks faced off for the first time earlier this year with Litvak's group earning a 14-6 victory. Princeton has never lost to Iona in 36 games all-time.
