ITA Regional Championships Continue For Women's Tennis

NEW YORK – Play continued for the Princeton University women's tennis team at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Northeast Regional Championships Saturday.
The Tigers went 4-for-6 in doubles, with the duo of Eva Elbaz and Tsehay Driscoll taking down NJIT's Irene Cocero and Shivani Ingle, 8-6, and Lorie Lemongo and Renata Lombrera of Drexel, 8-6. Leena Bennetto and Neha Velaga earned an 8-7 (7-3) victory over LIU's Lucia Melendez Garrigues and Clara Tardivel, while Maia Sung and Bella Chhiv upended Shalom Salvi and Laura Wipfli of NJIT 8-1.
In singles, Elbaz triumphed over Sandra Dzhambazov of NJIT, 6-3, 6-0, and Sung defeated Sasha Motlagh of Penn, 3-6, 6-2, 12-10.
