PRINCETON, N.J. – Led by freshman Kamryn Chaney's career-high 25 kills, the Princeton University women's volleyball team earned a 3-1 (25-16, 25-21, 23-25, 25-22) victory over Dartmouth Friday night inside Dillon Gymnasium.

Chaney's 25 kills came on an impressive .417 hitting percentage. Senior Maya Satchell added 14 kills on a .343 hitting percentage along with nine digs while sophomore Valerie Nutakor added 10 digs, hitting .429. Freshman Sydney Draper tallied a double-double with a match-high 52 assists and 12 digs and freshman Erin McNair led the match in service aces with three. Defensively, junior Mariah Haislip's three blocks were a match-high, as were freshman Sydney Bold's 23 digs.

While the Big Green raced out to a 10-8 lead in the first set, a Chaney kill ignited a 6-0 run that put the Tigers firmly in control, 19-12. A kill by Nutakor sparked a 4-0 run that gave the Tigers a 23-13 advantage, then the Tigers went on prevail in the first set 25-16.

Dartmouth led for much of the second set, but with the Tigers down two points at 21-10 a service error by the Big Green led a 6-0 run that saw Princeton secure the set. Another attacking error by Dartmouth gave Princeton set point before another Chaney kill saw the Tigers go up 2-0 in the match and earn a 25-21 second set victory.

The Big Green won the third set and raced out to a 4-0 lead in the fourth. With Dartmouth up 6-4 a Chaney kill led a 5-0 run that gave Princeton an 8-6 advantage. Dartmouth would take the lead at 18-16, but a 3-0 run sparked by a Haislip kill put the Tigers back in front, 19-18. Chaney closed the match out in dominant fashion, as she delivered a kill that gave Princeton match point at 24-22 then secured victory in the fourth set and match, 25-22 and 3-1.
