A trip to Philadelphia and No. 6 Drexel is set for Wednesday as the No. 5-ranked Princeton men's squash team gets set to open its season this week.

The Tigers and Dragons met twice last season, with Princeton winning the regular-season meeting 6-3 before Drexel defeated Princeton 5-4 in the consolation semifinals at the CSA team championships.

Princeton returns eight of its nine from that match at CSAs, including 2023 All-American and All-Ivy honoree Karim Elbarbary.

Drexel began its season last weekend facing fellow Pennsylvanian teams, defeating Chatham and Haverford, each 9-0, but losing to No. 1 Penn 7-2. Drexel won at the fourth and sixth positions with Fritiof Jacobsson and Yuri Pelbart.

The Drexel match will be the start of a two-match week for the Tigers, who will open the home schedule Sunday against No. 13 Western Ontario.
