Tigers Combine for Eight Wins at Ohio State's Elite Invitational

Princeton, ranked No. 1 nationally on the women's side and No. 3 on the men's, opened its season on Sunday at Ohio State's Elite Invitational, winning four of five contests on the men's side and four of six on the women's side.

The men's team's wins included two over fellow top-10 teams in No. 4 Ohio State, 19-8, and No. 9 Duke, 15-12. The lone loss was to No. 1 Notre Dame, 16-11.

The women's team was shorthanded in foil bouts, defeating No. 5 Ohio State (14-13), No. 5 Northwestern (15-12), No. 9 Duke (14-13) and No. 15 Air Force (16-11) despite having to give up points in that weapon.

Princeton will compete next on Dec. 3 at Sacred Heart for a day of duals.
