ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Princeton University women's swimming & diving team opened competition at the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships Friday at Lejeune Pool.
The day was highlighted by the quartet of Amelia Liu, Sabrina Johnston, Ela Noble and Nikki Venema setting new Ivy League, school, pool and ECAC records in the 200 freestyle relay with an NCAA B cut time of 1:28.85. The Tigers also earned a first-place finish in the event.
In the 50 freestyle, Heidi Smithwick finished second in 23.00. Macey Mannion finished fourth in the 500 freestyle after touching the wall at 5:00.44, and Margaret Hayes finished 24th in the 200 IM in 2:12.59.
