PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University women's rugby team returns to the West Windsor Rugby Field on Saturday, April 8, when it hosts the Emperor 7s Tournament.
Princeton is coming off its first 7s win at the varsity level on Saturday, April 3, at the West Chester 7s, when it took down Navy, 17-14. Sofie Grouws, Alayshja Bable and Laura Esguerra both scored for the Tigers while Sophia Villacorta had two assists. The Tigers played another three highly-competitive matches at the WCU 7s, falling to West Chester, 10-7, Mount St. Mary's, 17-14, and Navy's mixed side, 10-5.
