Sabrina Johnston
"Making the team is such an incredible opportunity that I am grateful for as I get to represent this school and country on another level while competing internationally for the first time in my swimming career. The things that I have learned from each individual on the team this past year along with their love and support will provide me with all of the skills needed to perform on the international stage!"
Heidi Smithwick
"Making this team is an opportunity of a lifetime to represent team USA and Princeton University, and I cannot be more thrilled and thankful to attend these games with my Princeton teammates. The Women's Swim team has given me the confidence and support to compete at any level, and I am so excited to apply my experiences here on an international stage for the first time."
Eliza Brown
"In the swimming world, making any international team is an incredible accomplishment, and I'm very excited to be selected for this team, alongside three of my teammates at Princeton. I think being a college athlete makes it even more meaningful because I get to represent both Princeton and the United States on an international stage. My team has fostered a very closely-knit environment that has built a lot of trust between me and my teammates. This environment has made me thrive as a person and as an athlete, and helped motivate me to pursue goals like competing on an international stage."
Johnston was a four-time Ivy League Champion in 2023, part of teams that won the 200 freestyle, 200 medley, 400 freestyle and 800 freestyle relays. She also earned Second Team All-Ivy honors in the 100 freestyle. Brown was the 2023 Ivy League Champion in the 200 IM, and and finished third in the 200 breaststtok and fourth in the 100 breaststroke at the Ivy League Championships.
