Princeton Baseball Falls To Penn In Ivy Tournament Championship

Princeton finishes the season at 24-23 overall. The Tigers' +17-win differential is the largest change in NCAA Baseball this season.
The Quakers got on the board with Ben Miller RBI double in the first inning. The Tigers had their first chance with two runners in scoring position in the bottom of the first but could not bring them home.
Penn's Jarrett Pokrovsky hit a grand slam in the third stanza to extend the lead to five. The Quakers put the game away with an eight-run fourth inning and three-run fifth.
The Tigers scored twice in the bottom of the fifth on an RBI single by Eric Marasheski and fielders' choice. Matt Scannell homered in the ninth.
Scott Bandura (.333/.474/1.000), Nick DiPietrantonio (.267/.353/.667) and Justin Kim (1.17 ERA in 7 2/3 innings) were named to the All-Tournament Team.
