Five From Women's Lacrosse Earn All-Ivy Honors

As the Princeton women's lacrosse team prepares for the 2023 Ivy League Women's Lacrosse Tournament May 5-7 at Penn Park in Philadelphia, six Tigers were honored by the League with All-Ivy selections.
Kari Buonanno (unanimous) and McKenzie Blake were named first-team All-Ivy, while Kate Mulham, Amelia Hughes and Samantha DeVito were named second-team All-Ivy. Senior defender Shannon Berry was chosen Academic All-Ivy for her work in the classroom and on the field.
Four of Princeton's All-ivy selections are first-time honorees, with only Kate Mulham a repeat selection after her second-team All-Ivy season last year.
Kari Buonanno leads the Tigers in scoring with 47 points (29g, 18a) while also tops in ground balls (20) and ranking second in draw controls (40).
McKenzie Blake is second on the team in scoring with 46 points, leading the team with 39 goals. She has also added 21 draw controls and 18 ground balls.
Kate Mulham has posted a 38-point season which ranks fourth on the team, tallying 29 goals.
Samantha DeVito has played a solid two-way game in the midfield for the Tigers, registering 11 points (8g, 3a) while winning 22 draw controls and picking up 13 ground balls while causing seven turnovers.
In goal, Amelia Hughes leads the Ivy League in saves (161), save percentage (.441) and saves-per-game (10.7) which also ranks No. 7 in the nation.
Defender and tri-captain Shannon Berry has started all 15 games on her way to Academic All-Ivy honors, causing six turnovers and picking up 15 ground balls.
