Women’s Swimming & Diving Names 2023-24 Captains

PRINCETON, N.J. – Princeton University women's swimming & diving Head Coach Bret Lundgaard has announced Nathalie Valdman, Margaux McDonald, Liza Whitmire and Macey Mannion as team captains for the 2023-24 season.

Mannion joins the trio of Valdman, McDonald and Whitmire, who also served as captains in the 2022-23 season.

The Tigers will look to repeat as Ivy League Champions in 2023-24, and win their third conference title in four seasons. Princeton will look to build off a 2022-23 season where Lundgaard was named Ivy Coach of the Year, 20 swimmers earned over 150 lifetime best times, eight school and two Ivy records were broken and NCAA 'B' cuts were earned in four out of the five relays, with the Tigers being the only non power five school to earn more than two. In addition, Nikki Venema was named Ivy League High Point Swimmer and Charlotte Martinkus High Point Diver, while Venema was also invited to the NCAA Championships in three events.
