Connors '23 Selected in Inaugural PWHL Draft

After finishing a career that put her in the top 12 all-time in program history in goals, assists and points, Maggie Connors '23 was selected Monday in the inaugural Professional Women's Hockey League draft as an 11th-round selection of the PWHL's Toronto club.
Connors scored 78 goals as a Tiger, eighth-most in program history, while adding 67 assists, 11th-most in program history, for 145 points, 12th-most in program history.
A two-time All-ECAC Hockey and three-time All-Ivy honoree, Connors helped the Tigers to NCAA tournament bids in each of her first two seasons, adding the 2019 Ivy League title and the 2020 ECAC Hockey tournament title, the first in program history.
The PWHL is scheduled to start its inaugural season in January with teams in Montreal, Toronto, New York, Boston, Ottawa and Minneapolis.
