Princeton climbed to a tie for No. 4 in the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Varsity Poll (CWPA) with Stanford and Pepperdine. The Tigers were trailing on California, UCLA and USC. In the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches' (ACWPC) Poll, head coach Dustin Litvak's team was No. 5.
The Tigers are 9-0 this season, having won seven games at home and two at the Bucknell Invitational last weekend. Litvak's group has three wins over ranked opponents.
Pozaric leads the team in scoring with 36 points and 23 goals this season while going 32-0 in sprints. He was recently named CWPA Player of the Week for the eighth time in his career. Vladan Mitrovic is second on the squad with 21 tallies while George Caras (16) and JP Ohl (11) each have double digits in goals.
West Temkin and Kristóf Kovács have combined for 95 saves in the cage, producing a .638 save percentage. Kovacs stopped 19 shots against the Air Force, leading him to earn CWPA Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week. It's the second time in his young career that he's earned conference weekly honors.
