LOS ANGELES – The No. 4 Princeton Men's Water Polo Team took down the No. 14 Cal Baptist Lancers for the second time this season, 16-8, at Spieker Aquatics Center on Friday evening.
Even at 2-all, the Tigers scored two goals before holding a 4-3 advantage after eight minutes. After the two teams exchanged tallies, Princeton ripped four of the next five goals and stretched its advantage to four, 9-5, at the break.
Cal Baptist got as close as three in the third stanza, but Princeton scored three straight to expand its lead to 13-7 and never looked back.
Roko Pozaric tied his career high with six goals while Kristóf Kovács had 10 saves in the win.
