No. 4 Men's Water Polo Falls To No. 4 Pepperdine, 15-11

LOS ANGELES – The No. 4 Pepperdine Waves earned a 15-11 victory over the No. 4 Princeton Men's Water Polo Team to finish off the MPSF Invitational.

Pepperdine began the game with two goals before exchanging tallies with Princeton to take a 4-2 lead after the first quarter.

Roko Pozaric and Finn LeSeur scored to tie the game but the Wave quickly countered to retake the lead. George Caras posted a tally with 29 seconds to go in the first half to tie the contest at 6-all.

The Wave began the scoring in the second half, but a goal from Logan McCarroll and two more from Pierce Maloney put Princeton in front for the first time, 9-7.

Pepperdine made another push, ripping off a 4-0 run, going ahead, 11-9, with 6:20 left on the clock.

The Tigers got within one twice, but the Wave finished the game with three consecutive goals to earn the victory.

Maloney led the team with three goals while West Temkin had 11 saves in the loss.
