The Tigers stood tall for most of the game on the penalty kill, going 6-for-7 on the PK – including an extended 5-on-3 in the third period. Princeton was 1-for-2 on the power play.
Jack Cronin had a career-high three points, including a career-best two assists capped by a helper on the game-winner. The other assist on the winner was the second of the night from Noah de la Durantaye to tie his career high.
Ethan Pearson made 27 saves for his first win of the season.
Kevin Anderson opened the scoring with his first career goal 2:46 into the game. Jayden Sison sent the play in motion with a high flip from deep inside Princeton's defensive end, and Anderson gathered the loose puck before firing a snap shot home. Michael Young had the secondary assist on the goal for his first collegiate point.
The Black Knights tied the game just under five minutes later when Brent Keefer capitalized on a Princeton turnover 7:10 into the game.KEVIN!

The Tigers would win the special teams battle in the final moments of the first period to stake themselves to a 2-1 lead. First, the unit of Adam Robbins, Joe Berg, Brendan Wang and Mike Kennedy killed off almost the entirety of an Army power play in the final three minutes to keep the game tied.
After that kill, Princeton went the other way and drew a boarding penalty on the Black Knights with 15.9 seconds left in the opening period. Off the ensuing faceoff, Noah de la Durantaye sent a shot towards goal which was knocked down and ended up on the stick of Jack Cronin who quickly swatted home a power-play goal with 0:09 left in the period.
The Cadets leveled the game at 2-2 under two minutes into the second period when Ricky Lyle redirected home a Mac Gadowsky pass for a power-play goal.Cronin Cashes In!@jcronin03 mucks it up in the mixer and swats home a PPG for a 2-1 lead!@ecachockey | @NCAAIceHockey | @TeamECH pic.twitter.com/Hu3F0qJYVq

It took the Tigers less than four minutes to regain the lead when Kai Daniells was sprung on a breakaway by Jack Cronin and calmly slid a backhander five-hole for a 3-2 lead.
The Tigers were all over the Black Knights the rest of the second period, totaling 16 shots in the middle frame but only able to must the Daniells goal.
Army pushed heavily in the third despite going 0-for-3 on the power play, finally connecting on a Joey Baez shot from the wide hash with less than six seconds left to force overtime.A Daniells Dandy!

Princeton controlled the overtime with seven shot attempts to just one for Army. Following a Princeton timeout with 0:33 left, Jack Cronin almost won the game with a laser off the crossbar but the ensuing chaos led to a cross-zone pass from de la Durantaye to Robbins for a quick wrister over the goalie's glove and in.Mercy!
