October 08, 2024 | Women's Lacrosse
Princeton has added two new members to its staff ahead of the 2025 season with Maggie Brown joining the Tigers as an assistant coach and Ali Robinson taking over as Director of Lacrosse Operations.
"I am thrilled to add Maggie and Ali to our coaching group," said head coach Jenn Cook. "They are both tremendous people and amazing lacrosse minds who will add in so many ways to who we are as a program. They have hit the ground running with the squad during fall ball and are already making an impact as we get ready for 2025 and beyond."
A four year attacker at Southern California, Maggie Brown graduated in 2024 following a career where she played in 57 games and tallied a total of 118 points on 95 goals and 23 assists. She really took off over her junior and senior seasons, scoring 77 goals and adding 17 assists over her final 36 games for the Trojans. A two-time second-team Pac-12 All-Conference selection, Brown garnered both of those honors over her final two seasons while also earning Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll honors in 2024. She also had postseason performances of note in 2023 and 2024, earning Pac-13 All-Tournament Team honors both years.
"I'm incredibly excited to join Princeton Lacrosse, a program with such a rich tradition of excellence," said Brown. "The opportunity to be part of a team that values both athletic and academic success is truly inspiring. I can't wait to contribute to the continued growth of this amazing program and work alongside such talented athletes and coaches."
Ali Robinson enters her first hear as Director of Lacrosse Operations with the Princeton women's lacrosse team in 2025 after spending the past two years on the coaching staff at Wisconsin-Lacrosse. She served as the interim head coach during the 2024 season after previously serving as an assistant coach during the 2023 campaign. During her one year as interim head coach, Robinson guided the Eagles to a 12-6 record and a trip to the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship game. She guided eight players to All-WIAC honors, including three who received first-team All-WIAC recognition. Ava Schiltz was a first-team All-WIAC honoree at midfield after setting school records in goals (64) and points (115), while Abi Furlano was a first teamer in goal while making a school-record 172 saves.
"I am thrilled to be joining the Princeton Women's Lacrosse staff," said Robinson. "I want to thank Jenn, Kerrin, and Molly for this opportunity. I am excited to contribute to this nationally renowned program and be part of a team that strives for excellence on and off the field."
Brown and Robinson join a coaching staff which in addition to head coach Jenn Cook includes Associate Head Coach Kerrin Maurer and assistant coach Molly Dougherty.
