
Women's Swim Shines at Tri-Meet with Penn and Cornell

PHILADELPHIA, PA. – The Princeton women's swimming and diving team competed in a tri-meet with Penn and Cornell in Drexel Pool in Philadelphia on Saturday, taking first place in 11 events. Princeton beat Penn 176-124, and Cornell 219-81.
The Tiger squad of Alexa Pappas, Dakota Tucker, Sabrina Johnston and Ella Noble won the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:41.42.
In the 400 freestyle relay, Jenna Walters, Veronique Rossouw, Heidi Smithwick and Johnston took first with a time of 3:19.86.
Jenna Walters won the 200 freestyle, swimming 1:48.64. Natalie Farquhar took second in the event, clocking in at 1:48.74. Farquhar also took second in the 500 freestyle, swimming a time of 4:51.35.
Isabella Korbly swam the 100 backstroke in 54.76 for first place. Pappas took third in the event, swimming a time of 55.29.
Eleanor Sun took first place in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:02.82. Sun also took first in the 200 backstroke, clocking in at 1:57.23, and the 200 IM, with a time of 1:58.34.
Heidi Smithwick won the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:58.54.
In the 50 freestyle, Johnston, Noble and Veronique Roussouw took second, third and fourth place respectively.
Charlotte Martinkus swept the 1m and 3m dives, her fifth sweep of the two events this season.
Dakota Tucker took first in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:13.28.
Johnston, Smiwthwick and Edie Simecek took second, third and fourth in the 100 butterfly.

The Tigers will take the pool again for the annual Big Al Invitational on December 6th through 8th at home in DeNunzio Pool.
