Fillier Earns Season's Fourth ECAC Hockey Forward of the Week Honor

For the fourth time this season, Princeton senior Sarah Fillier has been named the ECAC Hockey Forward of the Week, presented by Bluebird Hotels.
Fillier had her third hat trick of the season in Saturday's 5-1 win over Dartmouth at Baker Rink in the ECAC Hockey Opening Round. Fillier had a goal in each period, giving Princeton a 1-0 lead in the first period, a 3-0 lead in the second period, and a 5-1 lead in the third period.
Fillier raised her season goal total to a career-high 28, and she raised her career goal total to 91, jumping a spot to sixth in program history. Adding an assist on Sarah Paul's goal to put the team up 2-0 in the first period, Fillier raised her career assist total to 101, remaining the second-most in program history, and her career point total to 192, remaining fourth-most in program history.
Fillier strengthened her lead in Division I in goals per game, now at 1.04 and with no other player above 0.91. Fillier also leads all active Division I players in career goals per game (0.77), total career goals (91), and points per game (1.63), while standing second in career points (192), third in assists per game (0.86), and tied for fifth in total assists (101).
Fillier and the Tigers will head to Clarkson for the best-of-three ECAC Hockey quarterfinal series beginning Friday.
