Meg Morrisroe Named Ivy League Offensive Player Of The Week

Meg Morrisroe was a revelation in No. 17 Princeton's 23-10 win at then-No. 25 Brown on Saturday, tying the program-record for goals in a game with eight markers as the Tigers clinched a spot in the Ivy League Tournament.
For her standout efforts, Morrisroe has been named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week for the first time.
A first-year attacker, Morrisroe more than doubled her career goal total on Saturday, bypassing the six goals she had scored this season over her first nine games. She scored her eight goals on 10 total shots, and was 4-for-6 on free position attempts.
The output has propelled her to 14 total goals this season, tied for sixth on the team.
Morrisore and the Tigers host No. 8 Maryland on Wednesday (7 p.m.) before taking on Dartmouth on Senior Day on April 20 at noon.
