A stunning final round from Yale halted Princeton's Ivy League title hopes as the Tigers were edged by three strokes at the 2024 Ivy League Championship at Watchung Valley Golf Club. The team race came down to the final hole, where the Bulldogs carded an eagle and a birdie to break a deadlock between the two teams.

Princeton entered Sunday with a five-stroke lead over Yale, but the Bulldogs were -9 as a team over the final round to secure the team trophy with an overall score of 843 (-9). The Tigers were three strokes back at 846 (-6). It was a two-team race all afternoon with Harvard well back in third at 859 (+7).

All four of Yale's scorers were under par in the final round, led by Ben Carpenter who shot a 67 (-4) to come from off the pace and finish at 204 (-9) to win individual medalist honors over Princeton's William Huang who was second at 205 (-8).

Huang was under par all three days, shooting rounds of 68, 68 and 69.

Riccardo Fantinelli finished 5th at 209 (-4) bolstered by a closing round 68 (-3).
