Dora & MacDonald Lead Teams To U20 Quarterfinals

Princeton's two representatives at the U20 World Women's Lacrosse Championships in Hong Kong have had strong starts as their teams have run through pool play and are on to the quarterfinals as the top two seeds.

Jami MacDonald and Team Canada are the No. 1 overall seed entering the quarters, while Haven Dora and Team USA are the No. 2 seed. Both squads went a perfect 4-0 in pool play, but MacDonald and the Canadians got the edge in terms of seeding based off the fewest goals allowed over the four games of pool play -- Canada has conceded just six goals, while America has allowed seven.

The two Tigers are doing what Princeton fans know they are capable of, filling the stat sheet each time they step on the field.

Jami MacDonald is No. 6 in total points among all players in the tournament with 21, scoring 14 goals and adding 7 assists.

Haven Dora is No. 7 in total points with 19, scoring four times while dishing out 15 assists. Her 15 helpers are tied for No. 3 among all players in the tournament.
