Women's Rugby To Host Bowdoin

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University women's rugby team will host Bowdoin at 12 p.m on Sept. 21 at Rickerson Field at Haaga House.
The match will be the second in the Tigers' new facility along with Princeton's third of their third season at the varsity level.
Pride Match
The Tigers' match against the Polar Bears will be a Pride match. It will have a special connection as it will serve as the Pride match during the Every Voice Conference at Princeton University. The conference kicks off on Sept. 19 and continues through Sept. 21.

2024 Outlook
The Tigers welcome four freshmen to their roster for 2024-25; Annie Huettel, Lila King, Lindsey Mulligan and Raven Robinson. They join seniors Brooke Beers, Erica De San Jorge, Sofie Grouws, Zoë Koniaris, Elizabeth Polubinski, Amelia Sanchirico and Caroline Schückel along with juniors Alayshja Bable, Alyssa Brigham, Luiza Chevres, Amelia Clarke, Annabelle Edwards, Kenzy Elshazly, Samantha Handwerk, Megan Hickey, Ciara Loughran and Caroline Maguire. Rounding out the roster is the sophomore contingent of Eliana Bane, Laura Barnds, Alana Ferguson, Ava Gregory, Maya Kenny, Malinka Kwemo, Hannah Mulligan and Celia Watson.
Scouting Bowdoin
The Polar Bears are 1-0 on the season, defeating New Haven in their season opener in, 69-21, in New Haven, Connecticut, on Sept. 14. Bowdoin also faced Dartmouth in an exhibition on Sept. 7 in Brunswick, Maine, and fell 60-0. The meeting between Princeton and the Polar Bears will be the first at the varsity level.
