Arthur Smith Named ECAC Goaltender Of The Month For December

For the second straight December, Arthur Smith has been named MAC Goaltending ECAC Goaltender of the Month after a perfect month for the Tigers.

Smith was 3-0-0 in goal for the Tigers as the team won all three of its games played to close out 2024. He was No. 2 in the country in save percentage (.962) and No. 4 in GAA (1.01) during the month of December and he currently ranks No. 3 in the country in save percentage (.942), No. 5 in GAA (1.67) and his .833 winning percentage (5-1-0) is No. 4 overall in the country.

Smith was ECAC Goaltender of the Month a year ago after a 3-0-1 month of December to close out 2023. Last December, Smith posted a 1.76 GAA, allowing six goals in 205:00 of play. He also had a .935 save percentage, stopping 86 of 92 shots faced.
