
Malinka Kwemo Records Hat Trick At Queens

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Malinka Kwemo of the Princeton University women's rugby team recorded a hat trick as the Tigers fought valiantly against Queens Saturday at the Queens Sports Complex but fell just short with a final score of 40-33.
Along with Kwemo's three tries, Ava Gregory and Myah Natorp also crossed the try line for Princeton while Ciara Loughran successfully completed four conversion attempts. Kwemo brought her try total on the season to four in two games.
Tied 19-19 at halftime, the match was one that went down to the wire. The match was tied 33-33 with 2:00 on the clock, but a try then a conversion by the Royals saw Queens edge out the victory.
