Women's Volleyball Earns Outright Ivy Title With 3-0 Sweep of Dartmouth

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University women's volleyball won the 2025 Ivy League championship outright and earned the No. 1 seed and hosting rights for the Ivy Tournament with a 3-0 (25-12, 25-22, 25-15) sweep of Dartmouth inside Dillon Gymnasium Friday evening.
The Tigers will host the Ivy League Tournament for the second season in a row.
Prior to the match, a ceremony was held honoring Princeton's Class of 2026; Lucia Scalamandre, Valerie Nutakor and Ella Bunde.
Nutakor led the match in kills with 13 on a .314 hitting percentage and added nine digs. Erin McNair tallied eight kills, four assists and four blocks while Sydney Draper handed out a match-high 28 assists. Sydney Bold's 17 digs were also a match-high.
An early 6-0 run put the Tigers in command early in the first set as they took an 11-3 lead. Princeton had little trouble with the Big Green, as a kill by McNair gave the team set point at 24-12 before a service ace by Bold secured the set for the Tigers, 25-12.
Dartmouth jumped out to a 11-6 lead in the second set. A McNair kill ignited a 4-0 run that made it a one-point set at 19-18, then the score in Dartmouth's favor at 22-21, a kill by Nutakor led a 4-0 run saw the Tigers go on to earn a 2-0 lead in the match after a 25-22 second set victory.
With the Tigers leading 13-8 in the third set, a kill by Scalamandre ignited a 7-0 run that gave Princeton a 12-point advantage, 20-7. McNair closed it out with a kill on match point to earn the Tigers the 25-12 win in the third set.
