November 24, 2025 | Football
PRINCETON – Josh Robinson earned one of the highest honors as he was selected as a finalist for the Stats Perform 2025 Jerry Rice Award.
Robinson is one of 25 finalists for the award, which honors the FCS freshman player of the year in college football's Division I subdivision.
The Rice Award, celebrating its 15th anniversary season, is named after legendary Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice, who starred in the FCS at Mississippi Valley State University. Past recipients include Cooper Kupp, Chase Edmonds, Trey Lance, Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders.
The freshmen recorded five catches for 68 yards against Penn in the series finale. Robinson led the squad with 46 receptions and 569 yards, breaking the program's freshman single season record holder for receptions and receiving yards, originally set by Matt Costello's '15 marks in 2011.
