Football Falls To Penn, 17-6

An early Penn touchdown in the third quarter broke open a one-point game and Princeton was unable to recover in a 17-6 loss at Franklin Field to close out the 2025 season.
The Tigers finish the year 3-7 overall and 2-5 inside the Ivy League.
Esteban Nunez Perez was 2-for-2 on field goals, finishing the season 9-for-11.
A fast-moving first quarter saw just three points scored via a 32-yard field goal off the foot of Princeton's Esteban Nunez Perez on the opening drive as he connected with 9:28 to play in the opening quarter.
That was Princeton's only drive of the first quarter as Penn held the ball for the remaining 9:28 of the opening period and then scored two plays into the second via a two-yard pass from Liam O'Brien to Davis Ellis just 0:28 into the second quarter to cap a 19-play, 75-yard drive that took 9:56 off the clock.
The Tigers added three more points before the end of the first half on Nunez Perez's second field goal of the opening half when he capped a 13-play, 43-yard drive with a 30-yarder with 1:51 to play in the second quarter.
Out of the halftime break, Penn marched 75 yards in 2:59 with the final play a 39-yard touchdown pass from O'Brien to Bisi Owens to take a 14-6 lead.
Mason Walters knocked through a 22-yard field goal for the Quakers with 10:22 to play in the fourth quarter, extending Penn's lead to 17-6.
