PRINCETON – The No. 14 Harvard Crimson pulled away in the second half to defeat the Princeton Football Team, 35-14, on Powers Field at Princeton Stadium.

Harvard got on the board first with a 69-yard touchdown from Cam Henry. As the first quarter was winding down, Princeton went 97 yards in 12 plays highlighted by Aidan Besselman bringing in a 17-yard touchdown.

After a Harvard field goal, Princeton had a turnover on downs. On the following Harvard drive, Torian Roberts stepped in front of a Jaden Craig pass and rumbled 24 yards to the Princeton 46-yard line.

Two plays later, Ethan Clark went 51 yards to the house, making several people miss en route to the end zone.

The Crimson added a field goal and touchdown on its next two drives to go in front, 21-14, at halftime.

After a punt to begin the second half, Harvard scored on consecutive drives to put the contest away.

Kai Colón threw for 239 yards and two touchdowns while Clark had 112 all-purpose yards in the loss.

Princeton dropped to 3-3 overall and 2-1 in the Ivy League while Harvard improved to 6-0 this season and 3-0 in conference action. Head coach Bob Surace's team will head on the road next Saturday (Nov. 1) to take on Cornell. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
