Kai Daniells Named ECAC Forward Of The Week
November 24, 2025 | Men's Ice Hockey
Kai Daniells scored six goals over two games this weekend, highlighted by a five-goal performance on Friday night in a 7-4 win over St. Lawrence.
Kai Daniells tied the program record for goals in a game with those five goals against the Saints.
Kai Daniells scored the most goals in a game by an NCAA Division I men's player since 2011 with his five-goal outing in front of a raucous Hobey Baker Rink crowd.
Kai Daniells has been named ECAC Forward of the Week presented by Bluebird Hotels.
One of the best two-game performances in Hobey Baker Rink history made the work for the weekly award decision makers easy as Daniells capped off a six-goal, seven-point weekend with his second career ECAC weekly honor.
Daniells has skyrocketed up the national leaders in goals-per-game (No. 2; 1.14) and points-per-game (No. 2; 1.57) this season and has now tied his career high for goals in a season with eight so far in 2025-26.
Up next for Daniells and the Tigers is a trip to Bowling Green for a pair of games November 28-29 over Thanksgiving Break.
