Fencers Set to Open Season Sunday at Ohio State's Elite Invitational

Five matches apiece for the Princeton men's and women's fencing teams will await the Tigers when the 2025-26 season opens on Sunday at Ohio State's Elite Invitational.

Bouts will be streamed on FencingTV.com.

Princeton took a combined fourth at the NCAA Championships last March. Starting this year, the men and women will each have a separate three-weapon team championship.

Among Princeton's opponents on Sunday are Notre Dame, which won the NCAA team title last season, Ohio State, which finished sixth, 10th-place finisher Northwestern, 12th-place finisher Duke, and two more teams with top-20 finishes in 17th-place Wayne State and 19th-place Air Force.

Following the meet, Princeton will compete again at the Sacred Heart Duals on Dec. 6.
