Men's Hockey Stunned In OT By Yale, 2-1

A Zachary Wagnon overtime goal 1:11 into the extra period denied Princeton a comeback win at The Whale as Yale escaped with a 2-1 victory.
Conor Callaghan made 26 saves in his first start since November 17, 2023 after missing all of 2024-25 with injury. Yale's Noah Pak made 16 saves.
The Tigers were 0-for-3 on the power play, while Yale was 1-for-3.
After a scoreless first period, Yale broke the ice with a Hughie Hooker power-play goal with 11:29 to play in the second period that clanged off the post and in to give the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead.
In overtime, Wagnon took a drop pass and placed a shot under the bar which beat Callaghan just over a minute into the extra period.
Princeton returns to Baker Rink for a home game against Stonehill on November 15 at 7 p.m.

Nick Marciano forced overtime with his goal 0:15 into the third period which tied the game at 1-1. Off a Brendan Gorman faceoff win to start the period, Marciano dumped the puck into the Yale zone where David Jacobs forechecked and knocked the puck lose for a quick feed to Marciano alone in the slot and he wasted no time depositing his first of the season.SAVES BY CALLAGHAN!
